My breast surgery diary - Breast augmentation and lift continued

April 29, 2006 woke up sore with pressure. I took pain medicines ate a breakfast of oatmeal and pineapple juice. I took off my ace wrap that was wrapped tightly around my breasts for compression and support. I finally get to see the new me. I stared in the mirror looking at them in amazement. Its hard to believe these breasts are mine. Why didn't I do this years ago. My sister came over today they are taking turns taking care of me. Today I took a bath my sister help me wash my hair. It felt good to bathe. I didn't wash my upper body yet. I felt better and now I'm getting bored just sitting here. I feel great but I will not compromise my result so I will lay here and watch TV all day and eat and heal.

April 30, 2006 I woke up sore and with pressure on my chest. Nothing that I cant handle . I had the same menu for breakfast, took a bath washed my whole body. Wow! These new breast are high and huge I hope they go down and drop, I started using ice packs today I should have done this before. I feel fine just a pain here and there. Some people say breast surgery is worse than child birth, no way!!!! Sunday evening ate Mexican food, I could go back to work tomorrow but I wont, I'll wait until Tuesday.

May 1, 2006 Monday, I got up, woke my son up for school , my sister was going to pick him up for school but she called and woke up late. So I drove my son to school, I feel fine. I am taking the pain medication less and less (mostly at night to help me sleep)

My sister left everything ready for me in the refridge.

So I sat on the couch all day ate and slept, I can't wait to get back to work. Feeling only a little sore today better and better as the days go by.

May 2, 2006 I woke up feeling sore, still sleeping with 5 pillows behind me. I took my time getting ready and drove slowly to work which is about a hour drive. When I got to work the girls all want to see. They are all jealous they want their breasts done now. I am seeing many changes as my breasts heal. They are even now softening up

And are the swelling is going down. I left work at 3:30 p.m. Felt a little tired, drove home picked up dinner and relaxed. I still feel a little pressure on my chest, but that's normal.

May 3, 2006 woke up feeling pressure on my chest . Its normal I spoke to Dr. Corbin's office, I knew the answer but sometimes you just need a little reassurance, I will be waking up sore for a while and everybody is different. I went to work took it easy and left one hour early. I picked up food for the week. I haven't cooked yet or done anything around the house. My son has been a doll and has helped me a lot. He even made my bed and is getting all my drinks and snacks, I'm going to try and milk this as long as I can. Ha,ha,ha

May 4, 2006 woke up sore but today I see Dr. Corbin for my post operative appointment. All the girls in the office came in the room and took a look, I didn't mind I am showing them off like diamond ear rings. I've always been self conscious of my breast I couldn't even go bra less, you could see I was drooping. Even when I was intimate with someone I always wanted the lights off. The only regret I have is that I didn't do this sooner and that's the truth. It was the most pleasant and easiest surgery I've ever had. I was expecting way worse. Dr. Corbin came in and check me. There was no stitches to be removed they were dissolvable. He said I was going to have a great result and I was healing very well.

Marilyn showed me how to massage them that was a little tender but I have to do it. Its amazing how they look even just like I asked for. I couldn't thank Dr. Corbin enough he really is the breast expert, I have a niece and cousin who had surgery with Dr. Corbin and they look great too. Felt great today. I also have a niece who wants to have same surgery as me and a tummy tuck she will be coming in on may 19, I'm sure I will have a lot of referrals for Dr. Corbin

May 5, 2006 Cinco de Mayo woke up sore still sleeping with pillows behind me. My friends want to go out tonight and have a few drinks but, I will be good and go home and rest. I cant stop staring in the

Mirrors at home. Everytime pass a mirror I flip up my top, I look good if I say so myself. I have never felt this good about my breasts even before I had my child. This is the best they have ever looked!
